Select who you want to be able to see what others post on your timeline. Click the button to access a drop-down list. The section expands and a button displays. In the “Who can see things on my timeline?” section, click “Edit” to the right of “Who can see what others post on your timeline?” To do this, remain on the “Timeline Tagging and Settings” screen or open it again as described earlier in this article.
Another option allows you to control what people can see when others post on your timeline. But Facebook is constantly tweaking its system and changing things under the hood without any warning or notification. And those were the things I used to recommend on this page. You may not want to prevent your friends from posting on your timeline completely. There used to be two things that you could try that often worked: uploading the image in the PNG-24 format and keeping the files under 99KB. If your image is smaller than 600 x 315 px, it will still display in the link page post, but the size will be much smaller. At the minimum, you should use images that are 600 x 315 pixels to display link page posts with larger images. You can collapse the section by clicking “Close,” but that’s not necessary to save the change.
